is bandicam worth getting???

Ive been recording xbox one gameplay and have recently got into games on the pc like Trouble in terroist town (gmod) and CSGO and was wondering is bandicam the best software to use for pc gameplay??

I have been through a couple of different screen recording softwares, and ended up using Bandicam - it is the best one I was able to find, and I never have any trouble with it :)

I use Fraps, Fraps Fraps, always Fraps.
For sometime i used bandicam, as well, but Fraps is the best for recording pc games.

Not used Bandicam myself, so I cannot comment on that. However, I have used Fraps a few years ago and would not recommend it. Nor do I recommend DXTory. However, what I currently use is PlayClaw 5. It's a little unheard of, but its a beauty and does everything I want it to do. Its on Steam and isn't too much money. c:

DXTory is the one I use, but DXTory and FRAPS need a seperate HDD to record to, and even if you were using Bandicam or a h.264 with DXTory, it is highly recommended you use a secondary HDD.

Allot of people who use FRAPS and DXTory record to the same HDD their playing off of, can you imagine how much stress your HDD is under trying to record a huge lossless video and read a game at the same time?

I couldn't compare much to the other programs because Bandicam is my First recording program.
Recently they have a latest update which is user friendly. You can go check out other youtube tutorials and they will teach you how to use for the best recording.

Good luck to whatever capture program you're going to get =)

Bandicam is good if your pc is strong enough for it as Bandicam compresses the video as it records. Personally I like fraps since it gives you top notch quality and you can just compress the files after :)

Bandicam is a good option since its small video files before and after rendering, compared to other capture devices, I know for my channel which is also a gaming channel, I use bandicam and upload videos 10x times faster then I would with a video i recored using Dxtory
