Awesomeness TV?!

I have just signed up for Awesomeness TV... I don't really understand what it is and now all I can see are bad reviews about it. Can somebody explain exactly what AwesomenessTV is and how it will effect my channel?

They're a network who managed to annoy thousands, if not millions of people once they started partnering any channel that signed with them. I'm pretty sure they were getting like 5-10k channels signing up every week, and in saying that their partner support and benefits went out the window.

AwesomenessTV is probably the most hated network on the market. They don't have good support, and they don't supply very many tools or features. They accept anyone (Even those with 0 views, 0 videos, and 0 subscribers). A vast majority of their partners are super small channels, and 99% of them didn't do any research or even read the contract. A lot of people join networks with intentions that it will help grow their channel. This is a myth, and it doesn't work that way. Networks provide tools and features to help improve, and understand your channel/video content more, but networks themselves don't help unless you're one of their top partners.

A big factor of networks is money. Whether money from YouTube is important to you or not, you should know what exactly is going on. Networks take a cut from your earnings. (Most networks take 30%, though depending on the network and/or contract, it can vary). Since you make money per views, and majority of their partners are super small channels who don't get many views, this leads to people getting very little pay after the network has taken their share. Most networks have a threshold of $50 or $100 dollars, meaning you need to reach that amount before you get paid. Considering most of their partners don't get paid that much, they will never see their earnings by time the contract is over. Therefor leaving a lot of very angry, confused partners.

If you've already signed up, you should receive an email from Youtube saying that AwesomenessTV wants to connect with your channel, and it gives you the option of accepting it or not. I highly recommend denying the request, and look at other networks. (Be sure to do research beforehand).

If you've already accepted that request, I'm afraid your with them until the contract expires. There is a way you can request to leave the network, but it's a bit unlikely.

They just have a network that is too big and doesn't have good support at all. Also they take everyone so I wouldn't join if your a small channel.
