Audio problems with Elgato, help? :(

Soooo my voice is fine and everything but when i want to record other peoples voices how do i make them loud and the game volume quiet. They seem to scale together so the game volume overrides their voice, i have changed the options on the actual xbox itself so that game volume is 1 and voice is 10 but that does seem to change anything on the actual recording.

Anyone who has one and knows how to fix this would be great :)

The only way to fix this stuff up is setting your game volume to 1 and your voice to 10. If thats not working then I'm not sure O_o

That only seems to change things when hes actually talking, when hes not the game is full blast which means you cant hear me :(

Record them separately. The commentary recording is the one thing the Elgato is lacking in.

If i lower the game volume on the elgato then that lowers my friends voice aswell though, I think my best bet will be what Frankie said and record my voice with audacity like i do when im playing on PC. Thanks guys :)
