At how many subscribers do you consider someone as famous?

I consider someone YouTube famous either when they qualify for one of the Creator Rewards or when they've created content that has gone viral (or it otherwise feels like everyone has seen it).
I consider them famous when they begin to appear in other places and become known to people who don't really watch YouTube.
 
I think youtube famous is also relative to how one reacts to their rise in fame, many youtubers act like they aren't famous regardless of the mobs they have to deal with on a daily basis.

There are quite a few niche genres that have Youtube creators with >100k subs, yet I wouldn't consider them famous (ever). For example think about a person producing videos that teach high school math. I haven't looked but I'm sure this could easily get >100k subs. Yet the channel/videos aren't about that person. In fact the person making the videos not appear in them at all and remain completely anonymous!

When I said youtube famous I was referring to the channel being famous, there are many channels out there that are well known but the creator is unknown.
