At 37K subscribers and trying to figure out my content strategy

Thanks so much for the feedback guys. Don't get me wrong, I definitely love making videos (I do this full-time and it's the best job i've ever had). I'm just trying to figure out the optimal content strategy for my channel.
This isn't just a hobby for me so I have to care about subs and income etc.

For me that is pranks and kpop. Unfortunately these don't really mesh categorically.

Should I kill off the kpop videos despite the decent views and just focus on pranks? Pranks can also be very hit or miss.

Very helpful thank you. And also very scary considering that's exactly the direction I feel i'm moving with these kpop videos. Do you think I should move away from kpop videos?

nah don't kill them off. just make them into a sub series in your channel. think how buzzfeed does a lot of different videos but with the same vibe.

The content that seems to perform best on my channel are pranks (I hit a viral 4 weeks ago)

OMGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!! You're the romper dude! LOL that video was awesome man!

Vlogging helps a lot in building a loyal engaged audience, especially if you don't want to pigeon-hole yourself into kpop reactions and pranks. Worked wonders for pranksters like Roman Atwood and *shudders* FouseyTUBE.
