ASK: Remarketing offer from third party

Hi all,

Hope you're all doing fine.

I need your help. I have a Youtube channel with around 60k subscribers and 650-700k views a month. And today I got an offer from a company. The company representative told me that his company would like to do what so called remarketing via my Youtube videos.

He explained that he would place ads targeted for specific users who have watched my videos. These ads would not appear on my own videos but would appear for my audience when they watch other videos on Youtube. They need my consent in order to do this. As a compensation, they would pay me $50 monthly fee. And I can try it first for a month.

I believe this is all about Adwords. Please correct me if I am wrong. But I know very little about Adwords.
So, I have no idea about ads cost and other calculation stuff. Do you think this is a good offer I should not miss?

Please, anyone who have once dealt with such thing, I need your very opinion.

Thank you so much..

Cheers.

I'm not 100% sure either to be honest. This is adwords:

I doubt your channel or anything would be advertised there. They said the adverts will appear for others on YouTube.
I don't know if they mean in a video or advertised on the side bar of YouTube.
You'll have to look into it!
Sorry

Hi, Sean!

Thanks for replying.

He would not be advertising my channel. He would advertise his company products. The ads would be 5 sec skippable video ads that appear in OTHER videos. So, in essence he would target my audience to see his ads. That said, the ads would not appear in my own videos, but in other videos after the audience watch my video.

The thing that I concern most is that whether the $50 monthly fee that I received from the company is a good deal or not.

I'd go for it, but it's up to you. Try and find out if or when you can end the contract. Maybe give it a go for a month and see how it is
