Are TGN Good?

Hey YTTalk,
I seen a lot of people hating or giving negative comments on TGN, and I am looking for a new network!
But all the hate for them on here was a few months ago, and since Google bought out AdBlock alot of the big YouTubers that were with IGN have now moved to BroadbandTV.. which owns TGN.. am I right?
So is joining TGN a good idea or is the pay crappy? They say they give 100% but does BBTV take out a % of that first?
I could sign for Curse, Fullscreen or I could try and get hold of Yeousch (they never reply)

PLEASE HELP ME! I dont know what network to join!

Thanks,
Jake!

if you are looking to join a network for the pay then you probably shouldn't go with TGN. I'm partnered with TGN and I like the network so far but they don't pay you 100% I don't know where you heard that.

Let me clear some stuff up in here :)

The talent agency "Atomic Partners" started out under IGN, but when IGN had a change of management they decided they wanted no new channels coming in (yes, the whole invite only thing never existed).
Now, then about two weeks ago, the first wave of their contracts expired, and so IGN booted Atomic Partners(who then moved under BroadbandTV).

The few that moved to BBTV mostly did so to keep with their talent managers and such.
Most though, migrated off to other networks, some did go to Polaris although it is an entirely different MCN :)

To put into perspective of how much worse BBTV is compared to what IGN was.
IGN offered the following contracts :
<500,000 monthly views : $1.75 fixed rpm
500,001 - <5,000,000 monthly views : $2.00 fixed rpm
5,000,001 - <10,000,000 monthly views : $2.30 fixed rpm
>10,000,001 monthly views : $2.65 fixed rpm

Now, what the Atomic Partners deal is under BBTV :
<3,000,000 monthly views : $1.20 fixed rpm
3,000,001+ monthly views : $1.55 fixed rpm

As you can see, big difference.

The reason for this difference is BroadBandTV's non existent Advert Sales. They rely on Adsense serving adsm which means they can guarantee next to nothing.

TGN does in fact give 100% of their earnings. However, BroadbandTV and YouTube both take a cut before the money gets to TGN. So Technically you'll be getting about 60% revenue. I was with TGN for a while and I enjoyed my stay but the pay was not worth sticking around.
