Approached for a partnership

These guys approached me for a partnership today. Not sure why, it looks like they are a gaming network.

idk, it's only been three weeks and I'm so new to this... I don't know what to think of it, haha....

Thought it was a little odd, what do you guys think?

Apparently, they are a network under Freedom. The only reason that you were contacted is because they scour the boards to find channels to spam.

I'm currently partnered with Freedom! They are okay, nothing too special. I get a 90/10 payout, but even still, I rather have a closer community, so I'm in the process of leaving them. The best suggestion I could give is to research them, and other networks you're interesting in. If you aren't interested in one, that's fine too. The important thing is to find a place where you think you'll fit in, meet people, and if the networks provide you with some extra perks, that's always nice too!

You should just stick with Adsense for now in my opinion. There isn't really a reason to get partnered at your current sub/view count (not an insult, I'm not partnered right now either as I know I'm still a small channel & it's really not worth it). Also, I wouldn't advise signing with Freedom or any sub-divisions of Freedom. (I was with them when I only had one hundred something subs, unlinked after a month or two). Not worth it :)

I agree with Brinkbabe91. I'm pretty sure these guys are here to just take an ad revenue split without giving you anything you cannot find/do yourself.

right, thanks guys... I wasn't taking it seriously, just wanted to know what you guys thought of that... I thought it was strange. Much more weirdness and videos before I worry about anything like that, haha

All partnership offers I've come across are obviously copy and pasted messages. I don't have any experience with the well known names but I'd imagine they would come across as more professional... so those types of messages will probably be the ones to keep an eye out for.

As a former recruiter for a network, yeah, that's pretty much how it is. They'd give you a template to copy, and you'd simply just change out the names of the channels, and stuff like that.
