Anybody Separate from a Partnership Before Contract Ends?

I re-upped my contract with Fullscreen a while back, but one of the things they told me that made it seem worth staying is no longer happening (YouTube partner promotion views). I was getting a lot at the time I renewed, but now I've had like maybe 6 views in the past month from this. I'm just wondering if anybody has ever ended a contract early or knows anything about this.

I've never really understood what "partner promotion" are, what are they?

Unless they promised that they would get you a certain number of views in your contract and aren't fulfilling their end of the deal, you're not going to be able to use that to get out of your contract.

YouTube Partner Promotion isn't really something a network does for you. It's something YouTube does for you and is based largely on watch time-specifically per session watch time. All that embedding you do on external sites kills your watch time since it's unlikely that they're going to watch more than one video per session from you-and it's also unlikely that the whole video is being watched. Get your watch time up (remember it's per session watch time, so use playlists) and you'll start getting more partner promotion views.

My twin is going to be able to get out a month early (in February) but for some reason I can't *grr. There are no benefits to being in a network unless you somehow get off on lower earnings.

From my memory, CPMs would fluctuate between $1.30 - $5 and on rarer occasions go higher than that, so there was the "Whoa! It's so high!" type of excitement. I'd say a network's is almost always $1-2, sometimes lower.

From a network or Adsense? AdSense can have mega high CPMs like $40, but that's for websites usually. It's quite temporary, but I've had like $18 CPMs on AdSense - so damn beautiful!
