Any good screen recording software?

Has anyone got any ideas for a good piece of screen recording software that I can use? Preferably it is free!

Out of the two I think OBS is much better, I couldn't get on with fraps. OBS has handled everything I've thrown at it.

I just switched to obs from Fraps and i must say obs has my preference. I find it easier to use but everyone has their own preferences

OBS is definitely a great free software. But if you're not interested in it, some paid alternatives are of course Fraps, and Action!

OBS is the industry standard, shadowplay is ok if you have a nvidea gpu.
