Any decent free or cheap editing software?

Hello,

Basically what I use to edit my videos it the Roxio software to edit my videos and it is alright but crashes really easily and as I take YouTube more seriously I would like to upgrade. So does anyone know of any good free or cheap editing software as I don't really have the spare money to spend. If anyone can help me then please reply!

to be honest I dont think theres much great video editing freeware. I used Windows live movie maker for a while which worked pretty good.

I didn't think there was just asking around, I think I'll stick with what I've got for a while.

Corel Video Stuedio X5. It isn't free, but it is very cheap!

Apparently, there is something called "Blender" which is suppose to be extremely good free editing software. Haven't tried it out myself, but I am thinking of doing so. Check it out: ww.blender.org/

I personally use Cyberlink PowerDirector 12 Ultimate which is really good. Works a lot like Windows Movie Maker but very high quality and far more precise. I paid roughly $80 for it off of Amazon.
