UPDATE: So unfortunately my friend Adrien was not able to participate in this collaboration because he has other things going on. It is a shame he couldn't do it, but it is still okay because I still have five people that said they would participate. I have not actually received any links to a bad singing cover submission yet from anyone. That still is no problem though and there is still time to do it. I believe that I will allow submissions up to early monday morning instead of Sunday night just because I understand that my time might be ahead of time for others. In other words, monday morning for me might be sunday night for someone else. As of right now when I am posting it is 11:04 AM Saturday morning. I would like for the last of submissions to be accepted by Monday morning, MY TIME. So if it is friday night for you right now, I would appreciate it if you could send it in to me by Sunday night according to your time. I will notify you when I get your submission just so you know that I got it with no problems. Thank you!

No, no! It's no problem at all! Don't worry about it, I just had the sudden feeling like I needed to post an update for this thread to kind of let everyone know what was going on.

You can definitely send one in if you would want to! Someone who can act well would definitely be good for this specific collaboration! So yesI would be happy to have you in for this collaboration! It shouldn't take long to do at all, it doesn't really need any editing at all or different shots. It can all be done in one clip, unless you really wanted to go through the extra trouble of doing different shots or do extra editing, but it definitely is not required. So if you could contribute to this collaboration, I would be happy to have you in it!

Any song you choose! And actually, if I could ask you to do one thing for your cover, just because I was thinking about having someone do this for one submission and you can act of course! For the beginning of the cover right after you start the camera, could you do just a couple of seconds of improvised talking? Maybe act like you are saying that you are doing this song for your fans because this songs means a lot to you and you care about your fans. Keep it pretty short though. Then after the talking proceed straight into doing your cover. Maybe something along those lines. If you could do that, I would really appreciate it! If you don't do that part, then don't worry, I won't be heartbroken! hahaha

Yes I like the idea of the accent lol. I'm not sure if I want you to be scripted for this or not, I feel like improvising would sound more natural. I've seen for a lot of people's little singing covers on youtube(normally ones that suck) they will start out by saying stuff like, "Hello, my name is ____ and I'm here to give you another singing cover. *Then inserts pointless 5 second story that does not relate to singing at all here* I picked this song because it means a lot to me and I would like to share it with all of you. The song is _____ ." Yeah, that's the basics of what it normally is. You could use that as a guideline if you wanted, or you could improvise. Like I said, I think unscripted would make it seem a little bit more natural just because people doing crappy covers normally do not script themselves for the cover xD[DOUBLEPOST=1375574998][/DOUBLEPOST]
