Another noob thread.

What is your passion? Whatever it is that's what your channel should revolve around. Mine is film so I do a lot of videos about movies, and other movie lovers are the types of people that I attract. Speaking of passion just know that there is a massive amount of compitition on YouTube so you'll have to be really passionate about your channel and stickwith it even when it seems like you're not making any progress.
You do however have an advantage having found this forum. Remember to give more than you try to get. Watch other peoples videos, comment, and like the ones you enjoy. Strike up conversations and make friends. It really helps a lot.
I wish you luck!

You're doing the exact same thing I did when I started; I said I didn't know what I was doing, and asked for other people's opinions, even though I didn't establish an audience, and none of the people who happened to watch me knew nothing about what I liked or could do. Honestly, just do whatever you can to feel like your time on YouTube is worth it. I make rants where I describe my thoughts. You could do comedy, gaming, or whatever, but only if it's fulfilling to you. Good luck!
