Annotations link not showing anymore

Hi All,

I am relatively new to Youtube 1yr member.

I have previously added annotations and linked them. Now it seems that is no longer an option for me. Is there a problem with Youtube itself or is there some setting / preference I have missed or accidentally changed.

I have tried all forms of annotations and none of them offer me a 'Link' option.

Very frustrating......
Please help.

When you add your annotation for example after clicking for the Note one on the right check the link box :)
 
If it helps here's the video i have just annotated, right at the end i've changed the text to a question, as the link is not working, it was done as a note.
Even if you can't help me thanks for the quick reply.

the annotations you made need to be SAVED then PUBLISHED. maybe you just saved them but haven't published them so they don't show up?
 
Hi Crawlerz, i did save and publish, but even before that there was no option to add a link, no link check box.
 
I really dont know unfortunately, I just tested on my non partnered account there and the link checkbox is showing in its usual place. I wonder if anyone else is having this issue.

I don't see this as an option that YT could've taken from you, even temporarily. Strange. Have you tried a different KIND of annotation, I.e. spotlight, note, callout?
 
I actually have partnership, i don't think that would make a difference, and yes I have tried all types of annotations.
