Annotation location? Pls rate.

Thinking of 4 options:

1. red (to match channel) on top (long annotations)
2. clear on top (long annotations)
3. clear on bottom left (short annotations)
4. no annotations

Appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

 
hmm i personally would disable them i honestly like it when they are as small as possible so you don't even notice they are there the red kind of covers up the gameplay at the top where a normal one that has a short abbreviation would be less noticeable.
 
Annotations are the best when they're out of the way and almost not noticeable or at the end of the video. Think about it this way, if someone wants to be redirected, they'll find a way to do so. Just my 2 cents

The problem is, many of my vids are 10+ min. I check my YT stats, and inevitably the average viewer has a low percentage of sticking through to the end.

With a lower viewer retention for longer vids obviously, the less people will even see the annotations at the end.

I don't want to be intrusive or pushy, but I want people who otherwise may stop viewing the vid to be able to find something else instantly with the push of a button (or 3).
 
Changed position from top to bottom since it's more distracting at top, since the map/squad list is not super important, and since its closer to the play controls.

Drastically reduced size and made dark-clear with with text instead of black. I think this looks pretty clean and subtle but still good for those who want to play other vids.
