Animation

Loving YTtalk
I made this video a week ago. After watching again after some time has passed, I can point out a lot of flaws I have in it. My biggest worry is audience retention, so I wanted to know if there were any points in the video where you may have felt bored? In addition, is the humor balanced within the video (as in, is there enough and is it evenly sprinkled throughout the video or could it use more)?

If you know much on animation or drawing, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the video and if there's any way to make my animations more appealing (such as better color palettes).

Thanks for the feedback!

Hey so first of all I really like this video. It held my retention the whole entire time. So it is extremely entertaining and informative. I didn’t recognize the humor at first because I first just listened to it without much watching. But the second time through I watched as well as listened and I caught some of the humor. I think it was very well mixed in there. Especially since the video is on the shorter side. I do believe that it could have had a little more (if humor is what you’re aiming for) but for this type of video since it’s primary focus is education I don’t believe you need all that much humor in the first place (like I said the first time through I just listened, caught none of the humor, and l listened through the entire thing, my attention was never lost).

Awesome! I’m glad you liked it. It’s interesting you say that actually. This video was different from my others since it has so much wording through the visual aspect rather than mainly relying on the audio. I was a bit worried at first that it would be difficult for people to read some of the text on the screen, but I’m happy to hear you saw and understood it.
It definitely is supposed to be educational, but I didn’t want people to feel like they were being lectured (hence why I try to add humor).
Thanks for the feedback!
