angry people on youtube?

Do any of you guys get people who tell you that your channel sucks or your content is boring as f*ck? i did not to long ago and it hurts. I know my content is boring but im trying like heck to make things better :/
 
What you have to remember is that there are people who are mean on the internet for fun. It's their hobby. Just like you make videos because you get pleasure from it, that's their thing. They feel a sick sense of superiority from putting other people down.

It can be hard but you've got to brush it off. Because in the end it doesn't matter. Only once did I ever let a comment get to me and it was because I'd offended someone I knew IRL. Don't give trolls the time of day.
 
I know the feeling, but you have to remember haters gunna make ya famouuuuuus...jk but like Allison said it's just some 16yr old kid doing it for fun....getting off to it so no worries. I watched some of your vids, and I liked them so you're doing fine.
 
When someone posts a mean comment on my videos, I don't really care at all. Because they are wasting their lives posting things that are mean xD
 
i cant even sit through my own video. I suspect in like 2 months atleast my videos will be as good as many big youtubers I got faith

That's the spirit...just keep that in mind and work your a** off towards that goal of 2 months. You got this

Why can't you sit through your own video? Is it THAT boring? If it is, try to watch your older videos, find flaws, and fix em. Easier said than done, I know, but hey, it's possible. I was able to improve because I saw that my own vids sucked. (though you aren't the same person as me.)
I've only gotten a couple of hate comments in the past 4 years of me on youtube, but it really hurt me. Now, I just don't care.
And remember Rebecca Black? Dude, she has like 600000 subscribers or something now and is a really popular vlogger, and I think she's said she cried when the friday thing happened.

But if you think your channel is really that bad, go back and look at some of your older stuff as Leoooo said. Look for things that work and didn't work. Jot them down and look over them. For things or strategies that did work, brainstorm how you can branch out and grow them, maybe combine a couple of those things and see if they work. Just mix around with strategies you used or noticed you used throughout older videos and see what you can come up with. Ask friends and family what they think about those strategies, they're the most honest people you know.

For things or strategies that didn't work, asses why they didn't work. Sometimes they can get too bland and stale if not utilized correctly. Find a way to branch them out into smaller detail. For instance, if using social media didn't draw a lot of attention to your channel, break that down into three things: How you promoted your channel via social media, what audience is your channel targetting, and how you targetted them. Assesing these is much simpler when they're broken down and can lead to better ideas and strategies to use to change your channel from bad to good.
