if i lose a subscriber am i doing something wrong or what? or does that just haappen some times?
ive been posting videos recenly so my subs started going up but i lost one and i only have 52 subs and im like a comedy vlog type channel

Sometimes people subscribe to you hoping you subscribe back and when you don't, they un-sub. Maybe the person just lost intrest in you? Either way don't take it personally :)

Ya YouTube removes inactive accounts. This is probably 90% of the removed subs, but even if it is not, who cares? You don't want subs who don't watch your videos anyways. It is just a meaningless number in many ways.

It's normal to loose subscribers. It doesn't necessarily mean you're doing anything wrong, they may have just lost interest in your channel. I'm sure you don't watch every YouTuber you've ever subscribed to. People loose interest.

And keep in mind, the larger your channel becomes, the more likely this is going to happen. As long as you're gaining more than you're loosing, you'll be fine. Think of bigger channels. They probably loose hundreds or thousands of subscribers a day.

Yeah, I've seen some a few subscribers fall off and others join on. Sometimes it's because of content and sometimes because they close their accounts - but either way, you're always playing to an unlimited audience! Subs or no - people will still watch your videos!

We've been with YouTube for 3 years now. We've seen a lot of Subscribers come and go. Just keep in mind that some people may "fall out of love" with your channel. This doesn't mean you are a failure, it means that people change. Also, as mentioned YouTube also removes inactive accounts. There was actually one moment about a year ago that YouTube did a purge of inactive accounts. Our channel lost between 500-600 subs. That was a bit of a hit, but if you think about it, it's a blessing. Those people were never really watching in the first place. Don't worry about it. Just make sure you are producing quality content. ;) Just our 0.02. -Randy (gettingtheregreen)
