But personally I quite like the idea of your channel reflecting your personality, probably because in my opinion personalities (no matter the content) are the unique selling points. I think when you asking someone to subscribe you're asking them to back you rather than your channel.

My channel has all types of videos on it. It leans more towards one interest than my others, but that doesn't stop me from uploading what I want on one channel. I think it's more personal that way and makes your channel more unique.
If a person doesn't want to watch one of my videos, they just don't have to watch. I don't always watch every video of the people I'm subscribed to.

If you have two channel you will have to build up a fan base on each of them which would be a pain.

I mix it up - as others have indicated previously, my channel is also a reflection of personality, all backed-up within gaming (which I'm obviously into), although one or two videos don't have games in them (shock!)

I don't see any issue with varied channels. Keeps it unpredictable.
