Advice on Video Type Consistency?

Hey everyone,

So I've been making videos for about a year and a half now and I tend to focus mostly on political/political humor type of vlogs. However I'm also a really big kpop fan and have done some reaction videos. My reaction videos tend to be much more popular than my other videos. Because of this, I'm wondering if I should start uploading 1 reaction video a week, along with 1 vlog. Although I'm more focused on the vlogs than the reaction videos, it is nice to see the faster growth that comes with the reaction videos (although it's not a necessity).

My question is, would this confuse my subscribers? Is it better to just have one type of content per channel? Overall I do see myself more as a vlogger, but reaction videos are alot of fun as well, and kpop is a huge niche audience online.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like a smart idea. People who enjoy your vlogs will very much likely also enjoy your reaction videos. So I bet this can work out. It would be different the other way round.

Totally agree with above content,

Your channel is based around your personality so the transition from vlogging to reaction videos will be seamless :D

At the end of the day, its your channel, you get to choose what you upload. The viewers should always be kept in mind, but there will always be someone out there, several somebody's actually who will like your content regardeless. Some may go for the K-Pop, some may go for the politics. Either way, you'll find viewers. In my opinion, anyone with less than like 10,000 subscribers shouldn't think about making a second channel, it spreads your fan base too thin. I checked out your channel and I honestly think what you're doing is really good stuff. It's balanced, it's interesting and you should keep up what you're doing, just make sure you upload when and what you want to, just go off past experience, what happened last time you uploaded twice a week? Try to work it out, and if you still aren't sure, just ry it and see how successful it goes :) Good luck man

As long as you're consistent with what you upload each week (with additions or removing types of content), I think you'll be okay. I have subscribers who tune in for only one type of content but not the others, and that's fine. They know when I upload what they like to see, and they come for that.
