What?
Cool. I already has my adblock disabled for YouTube anyway.
So just to be clear, I personally use adblock, but have it disabled on any sites that I support, such as Reddit and Youtube and Yttalk.
I recently finished building my new computer, and I've finished installing adblock on it, at least for me adblock doesn't block ANY of the ads on Youtube. I've been testing this out for a good 40 minutes now, doesn't seem to function at all. Tried 3 different adblockers, the google store chrome one, a downloadable one, and the firefox one, none of them worked on Youtube.
Conclusion: my new computer might be kinda messed up, or alternatively Youtube might have done something great for content creators.

They still don't have enough ads to show on all the views already, adding more views to monetize wouldn't do much for Youtube ^^All they need to do is wrap the videos in a div with a class of advert and it would likely block the whole video forcing you to disable adblock, if I was them I would be tempted to do it![]()
Thank god! It's about time that this happened - the amount of people that use AdBlock could mean that revenue income doubles now!![]()
There's a skip button, and the ones without it are only about 30 seconds long. How is it a shame?Or views go down, because people don't want to watch 3 minutes ads before every video.
I just think YouTube shouldn't have done that, because it will infect my visits to youtube and that's a shame for some of the people i'm subscribed to.
