Active on forums?

Hey i have a quick dumb question. I've heard people say so many times "you need to be active on forums" and stuff, and I was just wondering what this actually meant. thanks :)
 
Being active means basically not posting once or twice and never returning :) some of us here come on once a day and post a couple. As long as you don't just stop posting you will be active
 
pretty much what obscurimity said, you want to post a lot, but things that are relevant to the thread. you can gain a fanbase through forum activity, but it's a slow build up. Even though it's slow, it is rewarding, because these people will be your biggest supporters. here at YTTalk especially, we're pretty good at helping others! :D
 
Being active means... well, being active. It's as simple as that. Post around the forms (that doesn't mean spam). Don't post a couple times and then never return again.
 
thanks :D. I was also wondering how to make it so my youtube channel name shows up on the forum instead of my real name?
 
Keep an eye on the recent posts, and just give your two cents. Even if you don't anything particularly amazing to say, this doesn't seem to be the kind of forum that rejects small talk as if it were spam. :P

It means we don't take kindly to folks stoppin' by just to show off their videos, never to be seen again. We got feelins too ya know.
