A tool to help build your Youtube audience.

Oh, this is nice. I'll have to do some of these suggestions when I get a chance. However, it also suggested some things I have already done so it's not 100% perfect.

I'm the same, even with some people saying it's awesome I'm a bit paranoid about giving them information, but it's run by fullscreen? I will have a look now and try and take advantage while it is still a free tool as we are not currently partnered with fullscreen or anyone yet!, But not far away hopefully! ;)[DOUBLEPOST=1383897362,1383897149][/DOUBLEPOST]Just run this program and gave it an email address to send the results too, How long does this take, does anyone know, Not sure it matters as im off to work now and am sure it will be done by the time I get back.

It usually takes a few seconds for channelyzr to load your channel report.
 
This was pretty cool - and I seem to be fairly on track! I'm in the high 80s for most of my scores, and some of the suggestions they make are sound.
 
Everyone who's suspicious: IT IS RUN BY FULLSCREEN.
They posted it on their Twitter and on the closed Fullscreen forums.
Beside that, they can't do s**t with your account beside reading your stats and info. That's the only stuff you give them access too.

As for standard tags, then you should put them in, but not in the beginning of the tag list where YouTube puts them. The first tags are prioritized as the most important. Make a tag list in notepad instead or something and then copy/pasta them into your taglist after the relevant tags :)

Maybe something has changed, but when I came to this site for tag advice a couple months ago I remember everyone saying tag order doesn't matter, just title order.

Also, what good is using a generic tag when I am a small channel? When I used to use 50/50 standard and specific, I never ranked for any terms. Now that I'm a bit larger and using only very specific keywords, I am front page on my topic about 75%

I know you know more about SEO than I do, any help appreciated. :)

Just like the description where Google only indexes the first 120 characters or something, then only the first couple of tags are being indexed on some search engines, not everything is for Google and YouTube when SEOing ;-) Beside that, general tags like gaming that'd go well with all my videos and can be appended to searches people do, they're actually working just a bit on SEO, but not much.
