40 Subs By Friday?

Hi guys...I usually don't like setting goals because I'm always disappointed when if I don't meet them lol but I currently have 36 subscribers and would like to make 40 by Friday - my ultimate goal is to hit 50 by the end of the month. I will obviously return the favor, I like making new acquaintances on YouTube :). Don't subscribe if you absolutely don't have any interest in the type of videos I'm doing.

Rate and Comment on my newest video also!

 
I think it's great you have goals in mind. I just kind of sit back and go "oh sweet, a new subscriber" and just kind of let it go, but I'm probably not growing as quickly as I could if I were to set goals like that and try hard. Heck I haven't tried to promote my channel in days... I need to do something.
 
Honestly, not promoting like crazy is fine. You should be spending most of your time creating the best videos you can. Which is what I'm trying to do, while sort of trying to grow my audience a bit in the meanwhile.

I was looking at your channel and I like that you sort of have a set schedule for uploading videos. I think I might start that as soon as I get a regular filming pattern down. Seems more 'professional' or whatever lol

It just makes it easier to ensure your audience will see your videos. If I just post randomly whenever I feel like it, I may post while someone is at work, then it may drop to the bottom of their feed, and they may never see it. But if they actually like my videos and want to see more, telling them I do comedy on Fridays and music on Sundays lets them know that whatever they're doing Friday or Sunday, at some point they can come to my channel to see a new video. It alerts them to be "watching" for my new vids.
