Hi this is my first message to this board (found it through r/lets play).

Recently hit 300 subs which is pretty awesome because of various things (mainly voice and my English being kinda bad although some other stuff as well).

Pretty happy with it especially since i started without any commentary and switched after 8 months or so to doing full let's play's with commentary. The switch was problematic perhaps because people started following me for one reason (no commentary) and i changed the nature of the channel. But i found out i actually enjoy doing commentary no matter the quality so..

Also helped me funnily enough with speaking more in real life (always was kinda monosyllabic before).

Anyway just wanted to say hello and share (part because its unexpected for me and part for other people to see you can get some following whatever problem you may have or think you have).
 
Hey, congratulations on making 300 subscribers. I hope it doesn't stop there, hoping to see you back here announcing 500 real soon.

Mind if I ask a question? Did you see an increase in views and subscribers when you started doing commentary on your videos or did growth stay about the same?
 
Well thats kinda hard to judge. And a really good question. Let me check.

I got 50 subs in 7 months without commentary. i got 90 subs after i started commentary in the next 7 months. Up to now (which is 7 months after the 90 subs) i got 150.

This is based on the subscribers analytics (which is a combination of gained and lost).

So i guess there has been an upward trend. Again i feel that you should skew any numbers higher than mine due to my challanged let's play's :P

Hey, thanks so much for the response. It was actually very informative and I got what I was looking for, :). I really appreciate it and I hope you continue to grow but maybe at a faster rate, :).
 
haha thanks. well as i said i can understand the slower pace. i still enjoying doing this so i am ok with it.
