This thread is the entire reason why people judge you because of your age. The best thing to do is ignore it completely. f**k what others think.

you on fb? And I don't really think so. I mean. I dunno, I just deal with all people where they're at. Some of my 13 year old friends crack me the hell UP man! And some of them listen to me and actually like, learn from what I've learned in my time on the earth! I just... I wouldn't count anyone out, but meet everyone where they are at. I see this post and think "hahahah that's his way of saying "It hurts when people say that about me and makes me feel more depleted, do you guys agree that the above statements are true?" To which we should respond a resounding NO THEY ARE NOT TRUE YOU ARE AWESOME BRO!!! And then his confidence rises, and the closeness of the community thickens. And none of this was a joke, I'm speaking very much from the heart right now.
 
thats true about age discrimination in youtube. its impacted me so much i am very hesitant to do a commentary cause i dont want all hate mail
 
If your worried about people sending you these kind of messages now wait until you get even bigger on youtube. Also you could change it to where only if someone has added you as a contact and message you.

I say as long as they know how to spell, use caps correctly, and not be rude, they're ok in my book.

Yeah, it sounds really cool, but I'm not just thinking about a lot of 13 year old's behaviour behind the screen, I'm thinking off all the external as well. There are pervs, sickos, haters, trollers and all that out there and they might come over a youngster's video and make a whole hell hole. People are very different, so while some of them shakes it off, others may get their feelings seriously hurt.
