1080p lagging issue

Since the last YT update with the new 60fps and all that jazz added in, My 1080p has started messing up when im watching vids,

basically
720p, loads fine, plays fine.
1080p, loads fine, plays terribly, 1 or 2 frames a second, even if i wait to load the entire video. However, the sound works absolutely fine, sounds like theres no lag.

Anyone else have this issue?

its not that big of a deal, but It used to work fine for me, wondering if anyone else has it so I know it may be a YouTube issue, instead of computer or browser issue.

Could you download Chrome just to see if you have the same issue there?
Firefox doesn't support 60FPS, so that may also be one of the reasons why it may fail to play properly in 1080p.

it seems a lot better, a bit jumpy here and there but much smoother. Must ave been firefox then

I just tried on both my chrome and Firefox browsers they seem to play fine for me in 1080, it must be something at your end I believe.

Could be that your computer isn't powerful enough? No clue on your specs.
