100 000 Subscribers Silver Play button notification?

so i did a little research and some guy said it runs on a may have to wait a little bit for a notification from YouTube.
also a youtube that i used to watch got it like 2 months after getting 100k so it could take a little bit. and by that time he almost had 200k subs...
also just wondering, what is your youtube name?

I've heard it takes a while (up to 6 months even) as well. I would try not to focus on it too much

I received the notification approximately 1 month after I hit 100k subs. They don't send an email or a PM - It's a notification on your dashboard, but make sure you click on the "more notifications" link because sometimes it's not top of the list, if you see what I mean. Here's the shortcut to the link: https://www.youtube.com/notifications
You'll get a notification like this:
You then get directed to a site and have to enter that code and fill in all your details like channel name (which will then be printed on the glass of the award, so make sure you type it correctly), name and address etc. It's a 3rd party company in the US that send them out worldwide via UPS. They'll send you an email with the tracking code when it ships. I received mine 1 month after the notification, so 2 months total after hitting the milestone.
When you get the award, be careful before throwing out the cardboard presentation box (inside the package) - there's a really cool personal letter from YouTube's CEO that gets stuck a bit in the lid. - I nearly missed it. ^^

They do the plaques in waves, so every quarter they go out. If nothing appears on your dashboard tips after a couple of months you'll need to send the email to the prize claim page people, in my case they said my code went out a month ago but i never received in on dashboard, but once i emailed them with my channel info they emailed me the code straight and i was able to redeem it. Grats btw, it feels really good to get the thing in your hands (mine hangs right by my fridge).
