10 Sec intro too long?

Any thoughts on the matter?

I know that a long intro ends up being a huge disinterest, and i've been playing around with trying to cut what i'm working on down to 6-7, however I really like how it looks at the moment.

I'm a cornucopia of mixed emotions on the matter and need some opinions! :P
 
Depends, When you're placing it on the first part of a playlist and not in every single video I'm fine with 10sec. If it's a "standalone-video" 5-6 seconds is the maximum I would watch

That sounds about right. I would like having the intro attached to most of my stuff, so i'll probably keep cutting it down a bit. I like the intro just due to its ability to add a little more "Brand Recognition" to the videos. Keeps them lookin' all professional-like :P
 
I try to keep mine under 5 seconds. People have REALLY short attention spans. 7 seconds would be too much for me lol

same here lol, now i dont use one i just get on to the game in kind of a rush lol
 
I remember this one time my little cousin sent me a link and the video's intro was a minute and a half. At first I thought that was the point, but then I went and realized that all their videos had that same intro, and I was like woah.
