1,000 Subscriber Challenge!

Me and my friend who both started youtube not too long ago are challenging each other in a race to 1,000 subs first. Only problem is, when we started they challenge they had 80+ subs compared to my channel, and I'm actually not too sure how to get subscribers in a short amount of time.
Looking at the Milestone page on the forums, it seems like people get around 200 in a week or two and it baffles me! SO I don't really know what I'm asking on here, but any input or help would be greatly appreciated!:up2::thx:

Okay first you need to fix your channel link, it doesnt work. Second you need to make sure your channel is memorable. Get a great channel banner and channel icon then get into the social media scene. Facebook, twitter, reddit, Google plus all have set ups where you can post your videos and messages to subs/followers who might become subs. Make sure your channel banner is on ALL those pages along with your icon so when people see it they right away know its you!

Next advice is content. Viewers can tell whether you are enjoying yourself or not. So make sure your voice is upbeat and happy.

Thumbnails! A MUST! Also upload as frequently as you possibly can. That will show viewers that yours is an active channel worth watching.

There are so many videos on youtube to add to the tips I just gave. I suggest watching some!

I hope this helps you.

Thanks for the tips! Idk what I did wrong with my channel link because it works when I use it?
I have never thought about google+ being able to promote my video ahah!
Thanks again for the tips, I think they will come in handy. And I'll check out some more videos for those kinda tips too

Yeah, good luck man, I've been stuck at 109 for weeks.
But if you have good stuff you'll grow quickly.
Just make sure to upload consistently and you'll be okay!

I have had a channel for about 8 years and I have 542 subs... I get most of my subs from my dog videos. I'd suggest pulling out a huge clump of hair with some vice grips about 5 times, then tape it to your face and order some food at McDonalds while scratching your makeshift facial hair like a crackhead.... I'd watch and subscribe

Here are some tips:

-Be yourself.

-Upload consistently

-Collabore with other YouTubers.

-Post your videos on Social Media websites and make sure to interract.

Users who get 100+ subs in a week must have great content so make sure you have good content also.

If you have any other questions let us know.

wow 200 in a week? i took 4 months to reach 200! but u have to make something really good to grow really fast, try to make something easy to go viral which isnt easy at all
