YouTube Networks / Partnerships - Some inside knowledge you shouldnt miss

I´ve been scrolling through some of the threads here and just want to share some stuff with you which is actually true and not just "non-sense" from someone who wants to be an insider.

First of all about youtube partnership (GAMING):
I´m currently signed up with 2 different networks on different channels (machinima and pixelenemy). Both of these networks have a focus on gaming, entertainment and more but still there are both different.

I know how good it sounded to me once machinima wanted to partner my channel and I was just jumping circle without even understanding what all this law stuff means. In the end I regret signing up with machinima but I dont with PixelEnemy.

This thread is mainly for new youtubers, who dont have much experience with youtube parnterships because those, especially smaller channels need the support which machinima doesnt give you. Since a couple weeks its even worse, less support employes are not going to help in any way. If you think that you will get promoted, you will be dissapointed, because the only promoten you get will be the promotion of your video which got uploaded on machinima respawn for example. Other than than machinima is just a huge company, gettings lots of money out of your content and you wont get alot. Even if you´re only after the money, machinima doesnt offere you the best CPM.

If you are a newcomer, creating gaming videos I can highly recommend you to check out networks such as PixelEnemy, maybe even TGN and Yeousch even tho I dont have my own experience with the last 2 networks I named.

If you are a more experienced youtube who already established a quite good amout of subscribers and views, apply for TGS (thegamestation) or IGN. Again, all these networks are mainly for gaming and entertainment videos.

Also keep in mind, if you will get accepted for machinima, be sure to READ the whole contract and understand it. DONT be happy without fully understanding it and if you cant understand it, ask your Dad, Mom or even a lawyer because once you get on trouble with a big company such as machinima, you will need a lawyer anyways.

*All these information are my own opinion, not making any network bad, telling any information which are NDA or similar. Feel free to add your own opinion below, I just wanted to let you know what I experienced so far on my way of YouTube.

BTW: My channels are mashed8, mashed8DE, mashedGamer. Starting with around 700 subscribers up to 20.000+

Good advice i suppose but pixel enemy doesn't partner many people it's more like a community channel sort of thing or so i've heard

The good thing about TGN (even though they have terrible support, etc..) is the fact that they have NO LOCK IN. You can leave whenever you want!
Machinima has a 5 year contract (if i'm not mistaken), and if you dont like the network, you have to stay there until the end of the contract, and 5 years on youtube is a long time...

Well if you are looking for a great community, go with PixelEnemy. I started uploading some videos to their channel, over time I developed great contact with the owners and I still think its a great network and help for anyone who is creating gaming videos.

True, Machinima has a lock, but it depends on the contract you get. PixelEnemy doesnt has a lock either. TGS has a lock of one year I got told and about IGN I dont know much expect they have great support and apperantly the best payment rate.

IGN and TGS have really high requirements but as I wrote above, its only for experienced youtubers. Its a bit of a shame that those "low level" networks arent as good as the higher ones, but thats how it works lol
If they partnered people with zero experience, then the network would be worse. I also heard that YDL (subnetwork of bentpixels) has the highest CPM...
