Should I Be Monetizing?

Hi guys,

I managed to get my videos approved for monetization. I currently have 24 subs and around 3700 views (Channel is a little over a month old).

I got my videos monetized in the hopes of using the what little money I get from the clicks to do sweepstakes for my subs.

While the sweepstakes may be an incentive to sub to my channel, I'm rather concerned that having ads on my videos may deter further subscribers, especially since my channel is new and still lacking subs.

What are your thoughts?

From my limited experience at monetization, you need heaps of views to see any amount of decent revenue from ads, if you're worried about deterring viewers with ads, opt for overlay in video ads and not TrueView ads until a video gets maybe over a 1000 views. Work on your content and keep pumping out videos.

Anyone who really doesnt want to see adds would of downloaded adblocker by now. Don't worry about it
