Monetization and Views

I have a few videos that are monetized that seemed like they got more views after becoming monetized. I'm not sure on this, but do monetized videos go higher in the searches? Or does YouTUbe make your video a Featured Video once monetized? Bottom line: Will a video that has low views now get more automatically after I monetize it? Please let me know what you think. Thank you.
 
I think so. When my videos are branded off as "under review" they enter a slow process of receiving one or two views every now and then. Also, I think it was on youtube that I read something about youtube spending so much money on promoting partners' videos.
 
I am under the belief that monetized videos rank higher in searches than non-monetized videos. I have seen a few of my videos show up as featured when watching other peoples videos.
 
be careful with monetizing your videos because you can end up getting click bombed and google will disable your adsense for some b******t reason.
