Just Watched A Mobile Pre Roll Ad.

Looks like they're testing the mobile ads finally. I just watched a video on my phone that had one, just like any video on my laptop.

Maybe they'll roll this out to more people in the near future. A lot of views are on mobile phones these days.

Thoughts/opinions/gripes? lol

I havent seen them before but I will have a look later, its good news for those with monetised videos

I have seen them but as far as I know you can only get money for the ads if your a partner. Does anyone know if thats true or not? I have monitized videos and half my views come from mobile traffic but I am not getting any pre roll from mobile views.

I'm still not finding much talk on the subject. Checked the YouTube product forums aaaand no word yet. Surprises me, actually.

Yeah they have. YT seems to like to throw changes at us.
