Is this normal?

In the last week or two I've seen a pretty big spike in my views. Up to 3 or 4 times as many on a given day than I was getting in the previous 6 months worth of data. At first I was stoked, thinking a lot of the work I had put in to getting videos out there was working.

But I've also noticed that there has been NO increase in the number of monetizeable views and/or click throughs. To be clear, I don't mean NOT ENOUGH. I mean there are no additional monetizeable views or click throughs at all. Both of those metrics are pretty steady over the least three months, including through the recent spike in views.

Where or how are those views being experienced? I feel like I've missed something.

Not really the last couple weeks, but in the last few days me and a number of people I've talked to have seen huge spikes in mobile views. Mobile views are also mostly not monetizable, so this could be what's happening to you as well. Check your analytics to see if your extra views are mobile.

yah a huge spike on mobile views I experienced it too. I don't know why too but as long a it's legit-it's ok :)

Up for this
