Cheers. Its pretty expensive I agree!
Drobo offered me either a review unit, or a 40% discount code to buy a new unit. I decided to go for the latter as I have it connected to my server for extra storage and backups etc. works really well!

You should just have sent that review unit my way! :P In all seriousness though, I would really want this, because I'm sick and tired of my harddrives failing ;) Sometimes even without any warning. Bam, instant dataloss o.O
 
I now use the Drobo for all my projects in Final Cut. I work directly off of it as my scratch disc, via Thunderbolt. Its been spot on ;)
