Can we hide the published dates of the videos?

Hello. We are trying to not display the upload published dates of our YouTube channel videos. Is there a way to hide (not display) the published dates associated with each video?

Hi Dave. Yes, there is a way to hide the published dates of your YouTube channel videos. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Sign in to your YouTube Studio.
  2. Go to the "Content" tab.
  3. Select the video(s) for which you want to hide the published date.
  4. Click on the "Visibility" tab in the video details.
  5. Look for the "Publish" section and click on the dropdown menu.
  6. Choose the option "Unlisted" or "Private" instead of "Public".
  7. Save the changes.
By setting your videos as "Unlisted" or "Private," the published dates will not be displayed publicly. However, please note that this will also restrict the visibility of your videos to some extent, depending on the chosen privacy settings.
