Can someone explain the Monetization to me?

Ok, my brother's channel has had adsense for a while, and we check the analytics every once in a while. The question is why does the number seem to drop? It used be close like $1.75 and now it's at $1.22 (yeah we don't have many views and we're only monetizing the rants, not the game videos). So why do the numbers keep dropping? If this is like just what we earned this week or whatever, where do I find the total number of earnings?

if u look make sure its not at the last 30 day set that box to lifetime to see how much has been made

well, it's quite simple, on the analytics there is a date range, you have probable earned less than a different time of they year, put the range to last 6 months or whatever and it should give you your total earnings, on and btw they only send you your earnings after you get past £/$50 and I hear they sometimes will use this scam saying you got click bombed ans they disable your adsence, be careful...

Yeah, I heard this too. That's why I'm only monetizing rants and such that doesn't have any music or game footage or whatnot. And I know I don't have enough viewers to go wild and clickbomb me either. But yeah, I heard of that from several people. We'll see how it goes. Thanks for the warning.

oh i'd like to add to that if you get partnered with a network you get protection from adsence and you don't have to face the problem

thanks, but I'm still a long way from getting partnered by a network. I just have 31 subs and 1,677 views. Not even worth taking the time to apply yet IMO.

I had 30 subs at the star of the year and now I have over 100, if you keep going you'll get there

Atleast 100 subs, over 2,500 views a month is a general guideline

wow. I know I'll eventually have over 100 subs, but to ensure 2,500 views a month...? Took me this long to get 1000+ as is.
