Buddy - Someone i used to know (Ultimate Dubstep mix)

Always happy to support other musicians!

what programs did you use?
Cause I like DnB and Dubstep, and I play the piano.
So I always wanted to make a piano/Dubstep of a song.. But, I'm a really noob in the Dubstep making stuff :(
 
FL... yeah, checked that out a couple months ago.
I'm just not right for that, it's always too messy or to simple..
Guess I'll have to stick with my ordinary piano..

Maybe one day, when my DJ-friend knows how to handle that s**t -'cause now he sucks a little :giggle: - I can do a collab with him.
 
Its hard, it took me 5 years to make a mix like that :D Well actually 4, but still. Before that i used to make instrumental hiphop and things like that, then hardstyle, electro and now dubstep and dnb :)
 
:) nice, I think you're really great, better then all the crap DJ's do on the local parties here!

But, do you think it's possible, and a good idea to mix a piano with some dubstep tunes in a nice remix.. would it sound nice? or is a piano just not right for that?
What's your opinion?
 
Yeah, i think its a good idea, but a lot of dubstep sounds needed. Here, look at her, she is making dubstep with a violin :)
 
Yeah, if you replace that violin with a piano, that's exactly what I'm looking for!!
Any tips for getting started?
