All that hate for machinima

Lawlz

I has it :D
Hai! :D

Lately im seeing so much stuff on the internet about machinima and now im thinking if thats true? Should i still take machinima or another network? Its just so confusing XD

It`s hard to tell since I know a lot that did join Machinima from the first Day and also a lot that don`t like them because of some Parts that had happened in the past few Months. I guess each Medal has two Sides and while some might believe that they got betrayed by Machinima in the past few Years I also know a lot that did turned down every offer to switch from Machinima to another Network like Fullscreen or Maker.

Let`s just assume that if you join a Network with wrong Expectations you won`t like any Network doesn`t matter what your CPM or what Brand it might does have on it`s front page.

Machinima Partners have gone from a 2.80$ fixed rate to a 2.20$ fixed rate which is quite a difference if thats your living.

Machinima Affialates are all complaing because they get so little, They have an un-fixed CPM with a ceiling height of 2$ and a 50/50 split which means at max they`re earning a dollar per 1000 views, they only have basic branding features and are stuck in a 3-4 year contract.

Its fair to say people are mad at them. But the reason for this is that they wern`t making enough to pay off staff and everything, reason being they have too many hubs and shows going on at the moment

Thats the xplanation ive been waiting for ^_^ But what gaming network should i join then? TGN, IGN? I always looked up for machinima but after hearing this it doesnt sound that much of a dream anymore :(

TGN is either worse or the same as Machinima.

IGN and TGS are alright.

Vexon, Vultra , KonsoleKingz and Yeousch would be what I recommend.

Out of those 4 I `d recomend:

Yeousch (Fullscreen Family so its good)
Vultra (Good Network but since I`m a recruiter my opinion is biased :D)

I've heard of most of those networks apart from the one you've just said you are a recruiter for. I would like to know more about Vultra.

The following is a informational message I sent while recruiting on YouTube I`m just going to paste it here to save time :)

Hello, I see you meet our requirements and are not yet partnered on YouTube :)

So first off this is the Network I represent : http://vultra.tv/

So first off I`m going to give you the differences between the I suppose you could call it a half partnership YouTube give you by default compared to full YouTube partneship.

1) PAYMENT :

With the default partnership YouTube is rolling out to all YouTubers a site called Adsense is used, how this works is you gets ads at the bottom of your videos and you get money if people either leave them open or click on them, there are multiple problems with this i) If someone is to leave the ad open you for 30 seconds + , you get around 0.2 cent if someone clicks on an ad you get about 4 cent and then after YouTube calculates this small portion of money they split it 40/60 with you only taking 40%.

So now on to full partnership which as of last March is only available via a network. So I`m a recruiter at Vultra which is a Gaming and GFX network! with full partnership your earning are calculated by CPM ($ per 1000 views)
NOTE : In vultra your CPM is not fixed which means it has no maximum so it can be anywhere from $1 to $infinite but generally stays between $4 and $8 which is one of the highest ranges of CPMs you will get from any Network.
Example : If your CPM is $5 and you get 3,000 views that`s 15$ then Vultra splits it 80/20 leaving you with $7.50.

2) OTHER FEATURES VULTRA GIVES YOU:

Dashboard :
Vultra has a new, sleek dashboard that gives you access to see your earnings and in-dept info about your channel.
We will also be running promotions within our Dashboard of specific products/services where payments are on a per view or per click basis.

Promotions/Sponsers:
This is a new feature implamented into our dashboard that allows companies with similar products to your genre of videos to request for a link or ad of theres to be put in your banner/video descriptions , you would then be payed by how much people click on that ad/link!

Livestreaming : We give all partners the full YouTube livestreaming enabled on their channel.(Now out of Beta)

Director uploads : The ability to upload to one of our hub channels (VultraHub in your case) to help get your channel more exposure.

Branding features : The shows feature and the Banner feature will be made available to you, to see an example of a banner look at the top of my channel. Also Thumbnails and schedualed uploads

Other : Partner only contests and competitions for cash and prizes, latest YouTube news, social media links, Partner Support, (full staff), FAQs page, SEO page (including education), Forum (where partners can communicate and collaborate on video projects), Partnership Handbook (with video tutorials that answer partner questions and walk through certain steps of partnering), Royalty free music, Network Weekly Videos (that will feature breaking news as well as helpful tips for Partners) and links to the other Network sub Channels.

We hope to see you partnered with us in future :)
