A little help with something...

I have the option to turn on monetization for my videos. Now I don't really care about making money on YouTube but I know I'd gain access to Thumbnails. A few of my videos have copyrighted materials in them but I've given credit to the owners of them. So if I enabled monetization for my videos but switched monetisation off on those videos (heck maybe even all of them because I don't really want to make money, I just do it for fun) would I be okay? Thanks in advance for any help

PUTTING CREDIT IN THE DESCRIPTION DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO USE COPYRIGHTED CONTENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You do, you have to enable adsense (half-partnership) and then after your account is in good standing after a month you will get thumbnails
