YouTube Won't Accept My Uploads

So I've been editing and exporting videos to .mp4 files through Wondershare Filmora with no problems for over a year now, although lately it's been taking a lot longer for the files to upload onto YouTube.

Lately I've started practicing with Sony Vegas Pro 13 and finished my first project last night.

I've researched and checked dozens of videos on the best rendering settings for YouTube and I've rendered the file as .mp4, like always. However, YouTube keeps saying that it doesn't support the file.

If anyone can please help, I would very much appreciate it.

MP4s can be a fickle format for some reason. Half the time Sony Vegas won't even accept them for me.

If you are super desperate to get it uploaded maybe consider exporting the files in mov or wmv format.

Yeah, you should try to export your video in MOV or WMV. I am not sure how sony vegas work, but if you change the format, it may work!

I ended up redownloading Sony Vegas and it seems to be working so far, but if I have the same problem again I will definitely try rendering the file as .MOV or .WMV. Thanks for the tips!
