Would You Remove Something With Copyright Audio And Re-upload It Or Mute Sections Of Your Video

Hi i just uploaded a new episode of my batman arkham asylum series and for about 40 seconds during the six minute mark the orchestral score in the background of the game-play was copyrighted so i couldn't monetize the video so instead of letting YouTube simply remove all the audio during the 40 second period including my voice i decided to remove the video from YouTube and re render it with the audio copyright music taken out and replace with some chill YouTube approved beats but the problem now is that my video wont be out for another day because it takes 8 hours to upload so i do it when i sleep but now i get the peace of mind knowing that there is no copyright material in my stuff and there is no missing audio from the game or me.

also i would like to ask would you simply be okay with muted segments to a lets-play series or would you do as i have done and delete the video and re render for a later re-upload.

Since it'a a lets play, every part is important so I would suggest you to take it down, fix it and put it back up!

i did remove it as stated in my post and re-rendered it its ready for upload later
