I would wait until your view average goes up so you will have a chance to hit their payout threshold of $50 by the end of contract. In order for that to happen at a $2cpm with 50% of the views monetized, you will need to get close to 100k views, which is roughly 275 views per day.
 
Umm. Well if you think you are ready for a partnership. RPM doesn't really have super high standards. I really wouldn't if I were you. Wait till your channel grows a bit first.
 
I'm thinking that I partner with them and use the features to help grow my channel, and even if I don't hit the threshold then I could always renew the contract and keep on growing...is that a good idea?

I don't know. Well I mean you know you can get accepted. So just grow a bit and then re-apply if you would like. It would give you the chance to see if maybe another network will be better fitting for you.
