help 1.PNG I noticed this today under the sharing page on analytics, but what on earth does it mean by copied to clipboard on a video? i also have 2 other shares on a different video that just say other, but when i click on them it just says what country the person who shared it was from, i have used tube buddy to check and there are no shares on any social media so what does copied to clipboard and other mean? Should i be concerned or not?
 
On mobile, when you click "share," there is an option to "copy link" or "copy to clipboard." I'm almost positive that's what YouTube is tracking here. It also mean that they just took the link of the video but what they do with the link is up to them. They could have easily pasted it in a chat, saved it on their phone, or simply copied it and forgot about it.
 
i cannot believe i didn't think of that, the funny thing is that was probably me, as i remember copying the link under share to put on tumblr which i do with a few of my videos, thankyou for clearing that up thats a bit embarrassing but at least now i know haha!
 
yeah i think it was mine because i remember copying and sharing the link from my mobile :)
 
Well it means someone downloaded your video using a URL downloading software

And YouTube doesn't count it as a share of you yourself share it
