Video Ideas.

Music stuff and selective gaming videos. I can't watch long lets play because I don't have time so shorter videos suit me best!
 
A couple of categories for me:
  • Anyone who is interested in putting up short films, skits, comedy sketches (not pranks or challenges...those are done to death), and the behind the scenes thereof
  • Instructional videos. If you can show me how to unclog a drain, I'll watch you, but only when I need that information.
  • People who do interesting things in their everyday lives and film it. I follow a couple of people who live full-time in their tricked-out vans, for instance.
  • Reviews of the media I enjoy, such as movies, TV shows, etc.
 
i think:

- kids would like to see cartoons and toys
- teenagers would like to see games, entertainments, music and movies.
- men would like to see News, documentaries, how-to, jobs , economics,,,, etc
- women would like to see beauty and fashion.

we can see anything because people taste different aspects
but it depends on you what you want to achieve ?
if you are focusing on getting high number of views then, weird and critical subjects videos can give extremest results but if you are focusing on getting high number of subscribers then your channel's specialization and its content's quality would be the best choice.
 
I personally like to watch comedic commentary about every day kind of topics, stories about people's lives, reactions and responses to things, and sometimes a public prank video if it's in good taste. I also like videos discussing world news, culture and politics.
