Video Compression

Hello YT Community

I'm currently in the middle of a playthrough of DOOM Eternal, brand new game with all the sweet graphics and audio that society has to offer. But when I finish recording a run-through, my God the file size.... Lets just say I'll die of old age before it finishes uploading to Youtube if my wifi router doesn't explode first.

So my question is, can someone advise a good video compression software? I'm cool if I have to pay for it, I'll feel like it's worth it if I'm able to pump out videos consistently.

what resolution are you recording at? video is posted as 720p 60fps
how big is the file? get an external storage drive? just to dump this stuff there, hard drives are much cheaper now
