Uploading From Final Cut Pro X

Hey guys!
I've been using Final Cut Pro X, which I love to use editing wise. But every time I try to upload a video, not only does it take for ever, but for about the first 20 try's it 'time's out' and I have to click share again. Any tips on this? Do you use Final Cut Pro X as well?

I never really got FCP to log into YouTube for me. I export to a master file and upload that directly. In my opinion, uploading directly gives me much more confidence that everything , including tags, copy, hyperlinks in my description etc end up in the right place.

Thanks for the reply!
I always make master files just in case but I find when I try to upload to youtube with a master file it takes like 3-4 hours to load. Any suggestions?

I always tend to go to the Share menu and share to YouTube.
I then let it render and create the actual video file. Doesnt take too long to render on my machine luckily.
When it gets to 50%, it means the rendering is complete, and it starts the upload to YouTube.
At that point I cancel it all and quit FCPX.

I then browse my FCP Projects folder and go into the Shared Files folder, where you will find the final created video.
Finally I take this, along with the thumbnail, into work the next day and upload from there since I have a 60MB or so upload speed! lol

Ive uploaded via FCPX once before and it went through fine though.
I would try uploading via YouTube direct by following what I do, and see how you get on.

My issue is I can't get FCP to recognize my YouTube user name. I tried my user name, channel name, email- just about everything
