Upload Speed Problem

Hey guys recently on Christmas my brother got an xbox. So he decided to go in and change our NAT type. That wouldn't be a problem, but for some reason now my videos that would usually take 20 to 30 minutes to upload won't upload at all. Is my problem because of what he did? Or is there some other reason for why youtube is telling me my video will take 3000 minutes to upload/process.
 
It could be, I have a friend who had issues with his NAT Type settings, basically he could play online via his PS3 with randoms but for some reason when he tried to play with people on his friends list/people who lived in Australia/Victoria, he wouldn't be able to connect to their games at all, he couldn't be bothered changing his NAT but eventually did at a time when we no longer play games together lol. So I know NAT settings can cause issues for people if fiddled with. NAT settings should not need to be changed on the router for any consoles to work online, if so I'd recommend a new router if that's the issue.

I'd say given the problem occurred only after he changed a setting then yes it's the cause of your problems. You could also hop on http://www.speedtest.net to see what your speeds are and make sure.
 
I have no idea why he did it, but now the only time I can even attempt to upload is in the morning. Even then I have to refresh the page 10 times just to get through the uploading of a 10 minute vid. I'll have to do a speed test.
 
NAT Type won't affect your speed, but your NAT could be too strict for YouTube, what's your nat type?

A strict NAT type will affect your ability to join games and other websites and applications, I had to modify our NAT settings to play AW since it wouldn't even let me into the online menu with a Strict Nat.

My nat type was strict before and I had no problems uploading to youtube now that he changed it as I said I can't upload whatsoever

I used to get at least over 3 mins now it has dropped down to 1.84 the file size didnt really matter because I tried multiple files. However when I plugged the laptop directly into the router it only took like 15-20 minutes to upload a 15 minute video.
