Twenty Videos Into a New Vlog; Now I'm Getting Deployed

Ugh. My wife and I just moved to a new Duty Station (I'm Army) and thought this was the perfect time to start a vlog to keep as family videos, show our extended family what we're doing, etc. To my surprise, I actually love the editing process, so even though we're only getting 30-40 views per video, I'm still excited about the creation process.

Well, now Uncle Sam decided it would be better if I left for nine months. Our vlog centers around our family, so I'm not sure if I want to pivot to a "military deployment" type vlog. I'm thinking about having my wife record on her end which I can then edit, and I'll throw in some stuff on my end as well.

What are your thoughts? Long distance vlogging, or pivoting to a more "me-centric" deployment vlog?

I think getting both yours and your wifes perspectives would be cool, also probably would make it easier on you so if you cant vlog the whole day while out you dont have just a min vlog on your hands.
